There's a certain hunger within the words of this poem, which feels strung together with care, thread by thread, creating a powerful yet loving creation. There's layers to this piece that even I have to admit I may be missing.
Zephyrus, to describe the scene is such a powerful act of poetry. I had to look them up, and the more I look at their mythology, the more it sets the scene for the poetry.
Well done with this wonderful creation, Vol.

Thanks, man... I used to tell my students I loved literature because it is impossible to incorrectly "understand " a poem, novel or any of its other genres. What I get from a poem like Yeats' "The Second Coming," is different every time, and correct every time. Unlike math, It does not matter how I feel about it, four plus four is NEVER five, or if I'm in a bad mood, three... It is why poetry is my life.

It's a sort of dance between the author and the reader. That's one of the many reasons why it drives me crazy when I hear people try and police creative writing. I feel it's meant to break boundaries and expectations, even from the creator. It's always a pleasure reading your work, Vol. I enjoy supporting those who bleed onto the page, and aren't afraid to do so.

Zephyrus, the west wind of mythology, was associated with procreation, so I understand. Well, I am not interested in procreation, but what goes before it. Tempts one to leave the windows open every now and then.
