MOTION

MOTION

A Poem by Vol

From the yellow dust a rabbit

bursts out across two ruts…

a soft impression of motion lingers

in the empty air.

The near distance

complains

with loud clanks and grinds

three iron miles no longer

frozen in its metal tracks.

I love the imagery I get from this write, I am glad the vehicle or train stopped in time.

Thanks! Imagery is the thing!

My father has loads of train magazines I've inherited. I like the image in this...I just hope the little feller made it across in time. :)
