I totally agree with your first sentence Vol...
I mean, for example... Adding the word social after truth and all you get is a lot of hard of thinking people shouting at each other online for example! 😊
And yes, I have a cheek to talk, when our politicians are so bland they need to wear rosettes of their party to be told apart!
They only ever try really hard to beat beige in the chart of blandness, so at least there, you guys have the element of a surprise or two when they open their mouths... All we get is a coma like boredom, where the most exciting topic is, "when will someone tell Rishi Sunak (That's our prime minister by the way... At least he is this week) that he's a bloody billionaire and should really buy trousers at least two inches longer!
But never fear about the bloodied hands Vol. Just have an alibi handy! (and if any police are reading this, I have not said I'll be his alibi and vice versa. AND YOU CAN'T PROVE IT!) 😊
Great piece you've written. Just thought I should say, seeing as I said so much about the first line and you may have thought I was having a thrombosis mid reading, but I assure you I have calmed down nor that I've taken my blood pressure meds. Well, I say calm down, but only to just below imminent heart attack level!.... Just like every other Monday 😊

I just saw a clip of George arlin bemoaning the softening of our language... Shell-shock>Post traumatic stress disorder, toilet paper> bathroom tissue... and several others. We have become namby-pambies, cowards, and sissies as a result.
