Conflict - Between romantic love and romantic desires, one may admire another being for romantic love but admire nature due to their romantic desires, such is not impossible to balance but has many attained it before? It's a predicament when time is a finite resource. Regardless, very (emotionally) arousing poem, author Vol. Thank you for sharing.

There are so many kinds of love, all you have to do to sort them out is look at the context...
I spent the day yesterday helping out a bunch of Dutch tourists who were over for the Scotland football game (Soccer) before joining us in the bitter North for one of their annual holidays of camping, hiking and freezing their lovely bits off.
And I remember a time when I'd have been way more excited about meeting a bunch of foreign lovelies, but times change and all I could think of was getting back to the van and heating up my not so lovely bits, while these maniacs go off hiking wearing very little and looking the lovelier for it.
There was nothing to worry about though. They are all repeat offenders at going to cold places to do summer things in autumn and are made of sterner stuff than I, as I parked my butt on the office heater all the rest of the afternoon, while thinking of just what it was that I used to find so appealing about ladies wearing almost clothes and do you know something, whatever it was, staying warm and clothed certainly beats it now! 😊
After all the hugs, it certainly stirred something in me, but I mistook it for needing the loo and a heat, so I guess I'll never know! 😊
And even if and when I did remember, your opening lines would be the same, as I slowly walk away, waving at them in the distance.

I mean, these are strange times, indeed. I wonder if i ever had braincells that would have thought it okay to go naked in anything less than 70 degrees F? I guess you didn't offer to share the office heater with you?

The thought crossed my mind, but it was stopped from getting to my mouth by the cold 😊
Hellos, love it hon, great words spoken in poetry,
I love the fact that your love is always unattachable,
like a hollow ghost, great write! -----Maynard
I see a love story and the theory of corrispondances her. An almost quantum poem of love and loss and finding again. I don't know how much that corrisponds with your meanings but that is what I see. Whatever is was it also must not be rushedExtraordinary piece.

Thank you... I have always felt poems are chameleons. they read different every time they are read... I believe this was about priorities, and finding new ones at every turn, but that's just me today, and just today...

Easily distracted often ends up with one falling behind though, I would probably stop for a flower I hadn't seen before as well. And who says arriving late is wrong, I think it is kind of cool...grand entrance and all. This was fun Vol.

Thank you... I meant that imposed priorities are not commandments from God... or a boss, or the person you are following... be like we were through history when everybody walked everywhere... And what did that process look like compared to today's mad dash to hither, thither. and yon...
