But, with age comes less of the risks that skinny dipping you risked and you still get to say "Been there, done it, bought the t shirt!", without having to do it again, ever! 😊
Life, in my opinion anyway, is all about balance. When we were young, we had fun, but we're so naive and now we have less fun maybe, because we hope we know a thing or two more.
When we were young, we wanted it all, but hopefully with age, we realise that we don't really need it all, and anyway, if you had everything, where the hell would you put it?
And the more we hobble along that road to our final destination, we are sure glad to have gave up on those everything's that would have weighed us down even more, and we're just happy with the odd bench or two along the way, to take the weight off and rest up a while, as we enjoy the view that younger us was too busy to even notice! 😊

There is something invaluable about the innocence of youth. I was in college, married, and had access to a large swimming hole in a creek that crossed my father's property. It was surrounded by giant Hemlocks, Hollies, Maples and other varieties that were full of an impossibly strong spirit. The only reason I don't skinny dip every day is because there is no venue out here in the Llano Estacado... Buit when my ship finally comes in, and I can build a lap pool, the neighbors will all be buying new binoculars...
