EVENT HORIZONA Poem by VolFireflies illuminate memories in my dream forest, perfume on your shoulders in a strobelight fantasy. I turn, and there you are, a Nightbird with dark feathers, lightening on your breast, I am captured in the curved thorns of those pink roses that look over the virtual swale of us. Over there, a soft shadow on the crest of our knoll, you flash a sunrise with your smile and I go in without caution. A firefly meteor in your open arms the way gravity captures time forever across our event horizon. © 2023 VolReviews
