![]() The Tales of Kerrak an'DrakA Poem by JT Godin![]() A Kaval poem. Just something I put together for fun — this is scifi poetry. It takes place within the continuity of my Adventures of Jade and Erk stories.![]()
Deep in the scratches of the easterly waste
Under the closing eye of the Centaur Where the tall warriors of the east make way They are always ready for the hunt But one elder cub stands lesser than the other hunters A she-cub of an'Drak who is known by the name of Kerrak As a young cub Kerrak lost many fights And was called a runt by other cubs As we know many runts grow to be fierce warriors So it was when Kerrak came of an age And took up the name an'Drak This day she hunts under the dancing moons In the twilight nights when the Centaur sleeps She hunts the feral Meerwav'ak And speaks in the other tongues Of the people who came from higher than north Who settled in the lands they call Pul. © 2020 JT Godin |
