Prologue

We are the children of the Void.

 

All things owe their existence to the Void.

 

The sacred source of all life and magic.

 

For in the Void exists the Great Tree, World Tree, the Gray Tree, the Tree of Magic.

 

In a realm separate from our own exists the Void.

 

In the realm separate from our own, the Great Tree’s roots reach into our own and connect to all

living things.

 

The humans of the Ancient Empires harnessed the Void’s magic and learned the ability to Manifest.

 

By manifesting this energy through their inner-gateway (innere welt), these early explorers uncovered magic.

 

They called themselves Manifesters, and were capable of summoning spectacular Forms built of channeled energy from the Void.
