My inner child  

My Inner child, was looking for me 

I ignored her for many years 

there were many tears

I blamed the outside 

Forgot to look within

I would never win 

My inner child came out

her anxiety was overwhelming 

I started yelling

I decided to look for her

to speak with her in a kindly way 

I sent her fears away 

She thanked me 

for making her feel safe 

when she lost faith
