True Captian

True Captian

A Poem by ReasoningwithWords
"

Society tells us we direct our own path, but to what extent? When does something else come into play? We all have our directors that cause us to self direct..

"

Education taught me, I was the Captain of My Soul…. Invictus.

But how so? I am not the Carpenter that invented it.

Society’s thoughts are so indecisive, which cause I so called Captain

To contradict the placement of pieces of my self-worth on this…

Strenuous enigmatic puzzle called life.

If I am Captain and sail that boat called My Soul does it mean..

I disbelieve Allah, Buddha, Satan, and Jesus Christ?

All of these names exist and don’t, per quotes by society.

Poor, poor society you’re so, so indecisive. Yes…

This is quote unquote your Captain speaking, or are you

Unsure about this too?

Well I am…

I am not the Carpenter that invented My Soul…

It’s Jesus.. My Holy Spirit… the director, Captain who orchestrates my

Self-worth by His grace and love..

Far from my reach of knowing what ultimately lies at the end of us all, this is something I can touch and understand. I know I am spiritual and that comes from somewhere. Glad to read a piece of your soul here. I wont touch on it critically because I think you are in this work through and through. I can´t change you so I won´t recommend changing a thing here. Keep em coming, ya?
