No one can really understand the grief of losing a child in any way. I just found out that my boyfriend, who has had only one other girl in his life of which he had a child with, lost both of them. His daughter was two month when she died, and the mother killed herself shortly afterward because of it. How He has found the strength to continue I have no idea, but he hasn't hidden his feelings about the death though he has tried, he can't. It really is devastating to know you have lost a child, but when you have no clue what has happened to them, that they could still be alive or they could be dead, what happened and all that, it MUST drive a parent crazy!
Caylee was such a beautiful little girl. When I looked through the pictures in my mother's People magazine I could see in her little smile that she would have become something very special one day, but of course the awful people on this world ruin all of the good we have: child innocence. It makes me very upset to think that someone, possibly her mother, would commit to such a horrible sin such as this one, but I still pray that her mother lives in good health.
Wonderful write, you did spaztastic darling. :]
I have nieces and nephews..... the Caylee story strikes a nerve with all of us...... it must be a horrifying thing for anyone to go through......children should be protected the most...... another great piece
I dont know what to say...
this poem says so many different things...I'm reading each line and I feel pain and a lot of sorrow..
even though we know she's gone there is still this sense of hope in this poem..and that hope is for other victims of kidnapping.
Its a beautiful poem...very beautiful
I hate/strongly dislike kidnappers. I knew a girl once. Her name was Jennifer. She was in fourth grade at my school. My dad couched the baseball team she was on. Then she went missing and her parents were found dead. Then she was found dead. The idiots called detectives didn't catch the real crook who was right under their noses.
But this is very nice. I like it. :)
A memorable tribute! I know following the story on her had to be quite painful. Her little face, her little hands, they won't get the chance to do the things we have gotten to do - like write poetry, ride a horse, cook for her children, play with her own kids.
Nice thought provoking poem written by a hopeful spirit.
such a sweet poem to write for someone you didnt even know
you are very special of a person to dot that!
tradedy is always a hard thing to live, but when it's
a child...ugh..... it hits your core.. this was so beautiful..
nice job,
but I feel this poem would be more effective without any rhyme
serious tones are more easily conveyed without a rhyme scheme
the format this is written in is more romantic
but great job with the actual words, and ambitious topic
