Unforgiving Silence

Unforgiving Silence

A Poem by ac4st3r

I’ve got a lot to say to you

I dunno what to say to you

I told myself no tears for you

But no one is safe from the damage you do

The world I knew, my little earth

Did you know what it was worth?

You left on cue

So who are you?

I’ve got a lot to say to you

I dunno what to say to you

Healthy fires turn deadly flame

Shards through my heart, and you’re to blame

Life is more than a quick read through

All my past is hard to subdue

You wonder why or how

So what am I now?

I’ve got a lot to say to you

I dunno what to say to you

What you did will haunt me forever

After it heals, I’ll still feel that tremor

Maybe I hate you, maybe I don’t

One thing’s for sure " forgive you? " I won’t

You seem untrue

So who are you?

I’ve got a lot to say to you

I dunno what to say to you

As you would say, not funny, not clever

So you’re exiled, despite those endeavours

Life goes on, and yes, it’s forever

It’s your fault that we’re not together

Step back, take a bow

See who I am now

It has a good ring to it and it's well structured. Though, I am still left wondering.
