HarlequinA Poem by VitalianRose"Do you know what a harlequin is? A harlequin's role is to serve. It's nothing without a master. No one gives two s***s who we are, beyond that." - Harley Quinn
I thought you were good
I saw the child inside that you hid And you told me you never would But over and over it's farewell you bid You leave me with wishes You drowned my hope Now I sleep with the fishes I don't believe I'll ever cope You left without a word Took what you wanted then drifted away Yet my whole world is still blurred I still can't believe you'd ever betray You call I'd answer and perform a show I still follow your wishes as my master Hoping one day you will come and never go Even though I know you always end with disaster Still I stand as your harlequin doll Executing your wishes and hoping you see Hoping you come back and to me will call Because with you I feel free But you're gone with someone new I'm sitting here still stuck on a joker I bet you don't even have a clue That without you life's mediocre Even after you break my heart Took your prize and vanished into air I can't stop feeling you're my missing part But I doubt you even slightly care So why do I still follow Why do I still listen When I am so hollow There's nothing I can find bliss in Why am I still your stupid harlequin...
