Weight

Weight

A Poem by VitalianRose

Your words have a magic pull
Your touch is a breath of fresh air
You are truly my home
You are where my heart belongs
But do you realize the weight
The weight that crashes down without you
The weight that makes me question
The weight that breaks my heart daily
It holds me down to the bed
It makes me get stuck in my head
It causes questions I cannot ask
I wish you could see what's in my mind
I wish I could let you know
I wish I could hear your answers
But this weight holds down my voice
I miss you still
I wish I were home...

Words never spoken are never heard, closed mouths are never fed, words never written are never read, thoughts will drive you mad if you keep them in your head, a life inside your bed is like sleeping in a casket instead. Live , love, smile, my child.
