I dreamt of you
For the first time in a while I rested
For me actual dreams are far and few
Yet with you that's been bested
You filled me with self admiration
You made me proud to be me
Now all my writings hold you for dedication
Even when fear makes me wish to flee
Back to the topic of this dream once more
Another kiss, your lips on mine
This spark electrifying like nothing before
The world melting away like drifting through time
We held each other close in the warmest embrace
But then my eyes opened as my heart raced
It was just a dream put in such a happy space
I hope one day with that gift I will be graced
