A Walk In The Park

Eh, just more poems about my feelings and me, the old duet. At least this is an older poem, like 1 year ago.

Love is crazy,

More than you know,

It's full of maybe's...

And straight out NO'S,

It can make you angry,

Or make you sad,

Or it could make you very, very glad,

Yet for me it just seems dark,

Compared to it,

                                                                                                               Most things are a walk in the park.

I don't understand it,

So maybe I should quit the game,

Maybe maybe,

It always seems to turn into a no,

I'm so unlucky,

Just so many oh no's,

But I'll keep trying,

Trying so hard,

Even though most other things,

                                                                                                                 Are a walk in the park.

Hmmm 'most things are a walk in the park' i'm thinking about this line. is it talking about chance, opportunity, probability? and I get that feeling sometimes. rejection, feelings of disappointment since 'love is crazy, more than you know'. hahah so true that. good work, Blade.

Yeah, mostly it is those three, almost like I'm trying to say I'm getting the feeling from love that life is just a matter of chance... a matter of opportunity... a matter of probability... that no matter what you do it's still just a roll of a cosmic die. I know it's not, but that's how I felt.

yeah i have that feeling too sometimes. it gets even more depressing if I let that feeling affect my way of thinking. but, it's a nice way to neutralize it through poetry, like what you did here.

Yes, that's one of my main reasons I wrote poetry, so I don't go insane alone with my thoughts and feelings... at least (like Edgar Allan Poe! XD) if I go insane, or you go insane reading my writing, we go insane together. :p

Yes, it can, and lol, at that point you were, but as of today, I've posted like 3-4 more pieces, and I'm still posting. By the end of next week there should at least be 10 pieces (not including the 3-4 I just posted) and hopefully somewhere between 10-25 pieces posted. Probably too ambitious though. I don't have the time to type it all up.

Finally, a poem that I can relate to. I liked it and found it very true...love and friendships are so hard, you never know what the other is going to do or say. No critique, really...I'm not good at reviewing poems, sorry. The question is, are you willing to take the risk to trust others? Not sure of the answer myself. As I say...ROCK ON, INTROVERTS! =) Keep writing, you're good.

Lol, I wouldn't say I'm good, but thx. If you could check out some of my other work I'd love it, I plan to keep posting. I'll check out yours too. Just... some of my work is dark, so fair warning. Not all of it though. :) Thx for your review too, glad you could relate.
