They Think

They think I can get rid of this
They’re acting like it’s a disease
I know this is a phase you’re in
This can’t possibly

They don’t know
How deep inside I’m feeling
My old soul
Has control of the wheel

It’s mine
Living it as I choose too
It’s fine
I did it so far without you

Love chooses who it wants
I didn’t get that option
I fell in love all at once
Something he did gave me satisfaction

Now we are in love
And they are sick of this
I am fighting for what’s mine
They’re winning they think

It’s mine
Living it as I choose too
It’s fine
I did it so far without you
It’s time
To accept who I’ve always been
It’s mine
This life I’m living

About
Been writing poetry since 1992! It was a project for high school and ever since I loved it! My poems tend to be more gothic, and about suicide and depression and the darkside of life. Sometimes there .. more..
