A Perfect Moment

A Perfect Moment

A Poem by Cordell
"

From my poem book The End of Poetry Vol. II poems from 1997-2009

"
Was there ever a time you wish would freeze
like an everlasting warm breeze
was there a time you see love right in the eyes
and it froze time
I did and I lost it but it said it was fine
for our love will out last time
I stared at love and made it upset
the worst feeling I regret
it melted my heart and make me think
that her love I have lost in a blink
but she made me understand
just because we can't hold hands
doesn't mean the love is gone
it stays strong
that you love for making me feel this again
you are my true love, friend

I congratulate you for capturing and experiencing this one perfect moment..this is grace.... they are not made to last.....this is why to us they are perfect.....we just capture them like you when they come along .....Thanks for making us realise the perfect moments are still attainable....

About
Been writing poetry since 1992! It was a project for high school and ever since I loved it! My poems tend to be more gothic, and about suicide and depression and the darkside of life. Sometimes there .. more..
