HitchhikerA Poem by Daniel J Wilson JrWritten February 14, 2005
Two places on the side of the road
one to the future one to the past I stand in the middle no knowing where to go not feeling where I belong waiting for answers that will not come Dwelling in the past gives me stability protection from emotion but leaves a void more empty than nothingness Pressing towards the future brings uncertainty harsh emotional trauma but holds a ray of hope with the potential to save me But here i stand facing oncoming traffic from all directions hoping someone will save me and bring me through to the light of tomorrow © 2010 Daniel J Wilson Jr |
