Tsuzuru- Special chants that are used to destroy demons that were created by Masaki Kurenai and his friend Izuru Shibata.

Ryoku- This is energy. Ryoku can be absorbed and stored within the body, be warned: too much Ryoku can damage the body from the inside. Ryoku is used to cast tsuzuru.

Majutsu- This is the actual spell that is used to finish a tsuzuru. Saying the whole tsuzuru is more powerful than just saying the majutsu, only by a little bit though.

*Only a handful, no, less than a handful of people can absorb ryoku and perform tsuzuru. Most were unfortunately tested in a lab like Nate, Naoya and Kyomi, others were just lucky.

(*) Eliminate all that is evil                  *this is the actual tsuzuru

Bleed through the wounds

Rip to shreds

Burn to ash down below

Disintegrate and disappear

(*) KAJI (fire)                                      *this is the majutsu

The ground bursts into flames, engulfing all of the enemies around the user. Be warned bystanders: If not protected, fatality will occur. This cannot be used as a majutsu and the user must have a great amount of ryoku, fatality can occur to the user if their body cannot handle the power of the Killing Tsuzuru. Only use this if it is a life or death problem, for example, the user is surrounded by too many enemies then they can handle.

*Phoenix usually represents this

Strike down from the heavens and scar the earth

INAZUMA (lightning)

Ryoku that the user releases by saying this tsuzuru or majutsu is replaced by lightning that passes through one group of enemies through another. This tsuzuru takes up a lot of ryoku, but it is not as fatal as the Killing Tsuzuru, the side affect of not having enough ryoku is just unconsciousness.

*Thunderbird usually represents this

Wash away the tears and spear the heart with ice

TAKANAMI (tidal wave)

The water in the atmosphere is combined into an ice spear that pierces the enemy in all directions. This tsuzuru can vary, if a body of water is near the user, the user can create a tidal wave that washes over the enemy(ies) that they are facing. The tidal wave drags the enemy(ies) back to the body of water and drowns the enemy(ies).

*Snowy Owl usually represents this

Fall down below and suffocate beneath the ground

CHI (earth)

The enemy(ies) is dragged down below the ground where they suffocate from the lack of air

*Eagle usually represents this

*Saying the tsuzuru is more powerful than just saying the majutsu

Protection Tsuzuru:

Protect those who cower from the dark

Bend the dimension between myself and my enemy

Let none pass behind the border of safety

Protect the wounded and helpless

MAMORU (protect)

The ryoku that the user absorbs is released and takes the form of a hogo-sha(s). For the bystander being protected, they can see the hogo-sha protecting them. The hogo-sha moves with the movement of the body so its easy to move, but protection can only last for so long. The protection tsuzuru drains a lot of ryoku from the body leaving the user exhausted. After a while, the hogo-sha will begin to fade.

Healing Tsuzuru:

Heal the wounds that were caught in battle

Replace the gash and leave no scars

IYASHI NO HANA (healing flower) Number 1

This tsuzuru can be used to heal bystanders and the user if they receive wounds.

Reverse the time that the blood was shed

Replace the wound with memories of the past

Sew the gash or grow the bones

Save the life of the unlucky victim

IYASHI NO HANA (healing flower) Number 2

If the bystander has a fatal wound or has lost a body part such as a leg or an arm, then this tsuzuru can be used to heal the wound or actually replace the limb that was lost. This cannot be used as a majutsu and the user must have a great amount of ryoku.

The tsuzuru replaces the limb back to the way it was before the limb was lost, as if to go back in time.It can be used to heal an older fracture or break in a bone, but cannot remove scars that were left behind.

___________________________________________________________

When the user performs a tsuzuru or majutsu, the user conjures up a hogo-sha, a protector that comes in the form of an animal of some sort. The animals are listed below:

Dragon

Big Cat: Tiger, Jaguar, Lion

A Serpent: Cobra, Python

A Bird: Phoenix, Thunderbird, Eagle, Snowy Owl

The dragon is the strongest, the big cats are next in line, leaving the serpents last. The birds are what represent the attack tsuzuru until the user releases the specific amount of ryoku that shape the bird into the hogo-sha. The protection and healing tsuzurus are not represented as birds, they are represented by the strongest hogo-sha that the user can conjure up.

People who could absorb ryoku and perform tsuzuru:

Kyomi Kurenai

Naoya Kurenai

Nima Kurenai

Masaki Kurenai

Nate Yagari

Izuru Shibata

Kimitsu Mikata

Shenzi Jaakuna

Demetra Nappeun

Sareena Malum
