Chapter 7: Without A House

Manga Version

Saku hana is greeted by moving men. They are getting rid of her red tagged items and also kicking her out of the apartment. Saku is tired and infuriated.

-Saku stomps her foot on the ground

"You are supposed to be here tomorrow!!"

-The biggest man answers to her coldly

"We got a call to come tonight... your landlord wants you out so we also got a call to get rid of all these..."

-He waves his hand to indicate the red tagged furniture

-Saku runs into the room

"You can't do this now!! I don't have anywhere else to go!!"

"It isn't our problem, now you mine as well pack up whatever you can and leave..."

"How can you be like this?!"

"Its our job girly..."

-The man pushes her out of the way and the men begin to move her furniture out

-Saku takes defeat and grabs a bag to pack her clothes in

-When one of the men bump into her hand made shrine, Saku freaks out

"Can't you at least be careful?! That is a prayer stand so at least treat it like one d****t!!! You're moving out my things so at least take your time and do the job right!!"

-The men definitely take caution and Saku quickly packs up her shrine

 

Saku waits outside and watches the moving men take her things away. Before they leave, the biggest man comes to talk to her...

-Saku is sitting on her suitcase when the biggest man comes to her

-She doesn't acknowledge his presence

-The man speaks first

"I do feel sorry for you..."

Saku huffs

"It is hard, but... there is nothing we can help you with..."

-Saku is silently crying; without letting her voice falter, she coldly replies to the man

"If there is nothing you can do for me... then get the hell away from me!! You don't need to take pity on me , so just go and stop causing me further pain!!"

-Saku is holding her parent's photo close to her chest

-The man moves in front of her and sits on his knees as to be eye level with Saku

"I can however, offer you something... I thought about this when I found out we were taking things from a teenage girl who was having trouble supporting herself..."

-Saku makes eye contact

"What could you possibly have?"

-The man holds out an envelope and a teddy bear to Saku

-Saku sniffles and hesitates

"I don't want to owe you..."

-The man smiles

"Go ahead... and you should probably take the park gazibo as a place to stay..."

-Saku takes the envelope and teddy bear. She stands up and nods to the man

"Thank you sir... for your consideration..."

-And with that, Saku heads in the direction of the park. The man waving after her

 

Saku has set up a small area for herself in the park gazibo and changed into a jeans and t-shirt. The only light she has is from a few candles that she lit up... a small alter was made for Saku's parents, she lies before them now.

-Saku is crying freely and holding the moving man's teddy bear close to herself

"Momma... papa... what should I do now? I lost everything!! I can't pay for your hopsital bills... or my recent one... I couldn't pay my rent... I can't pay for anything!! I lost my second job... my first job pays crap... and now I'm living in the park..."

-A light rain begins to come down

-Saku gets up and paces around the area of the gazibo

"I have school tomorrow... but I should just skip... I need to settle some things..."

-She looks at the alter that holds her parents with a burning insense and candle. Next to it was the moving man's envelope, unopened.

-Saku moves to it and picks it up, putting the teddy bear down

-Opening the envelope, Saku gasps

-Inside the envelope was $200, with $100 of it split between a 50 two 10s four 5s and ten 1s

"He was so gracious..."

-She sets the envelope on the alter with her parent's picture

-Saku paces for a bit more but then sits down

"I need to sleep but I have to be careful too..."

-Saku finally falls asleep after setting up her defenses

 

While Saku is sleeping in a park, Tsuyoi is in his apartment... he is looking at a paper and rubbing his head at a desk... the paper is a college acceptance letter... he was accepted into a college and it was a once in a lifetime thing for him... but something is holding him back from taking this opportunity. Tsuyoi puts the paper down on and looks at a photo on his desk. It is a picture of him and Saku together with their tennis gear. He doesn't want to leave her behind... Especially with her troubles with Ji-Hoon still at large...

Tsuyoi has no idea that Saku is out sleeping in the park... but he is planning to visit her tomorrow... little does he know he is going to be greeted by an empty apartment.

Tsuyoi pulls out a drawer and takes out a box. Inside the box is a phone, a necklace and $100 just for Saku...

Chapter 5 & 6 are great ^_^
Tsuyoi and saku seem like a sweet couple ^_^
Well, I do feel bad for saku tho, but still your doing a remarkable job on this book ^_^
