Dear Confidant.A Poem by Amadi JudithBeautiful butterfly. Charming, my alibi. Catching the daffodils in arms. Looking an object of heavens art. I did not know she was waiting for me. I longed for a friend and a sister to be. Everything that I dreamed. An illusion. Of the life lived in the past.A vision. She was right before me, as I watched and learnt. The symphony of the dying year in my ears. As I look at the red lips of the rose. Frozen yet alluring before my eyes. Then I chose I leave them to be caressed by the lips of one man. And not the one that grew in this woman. © 2013 Amadi JudithAuthor's Note
