Another time

Another place

I met myself

Face to face

 

As if in a looking glass

I stared right back

Thought I'd lost it

As a matter of fact

 

You look so young

What did you do?

You look so old

What happened to you?

 

Looking at each other

Seeing the change

Both are thinking

This is so strange

 

For a moment in time

Nothing was said

One looked back

One looked ahead

 

One had the memories

The other had a plan

One thinks it’s over

The other says, I can

You've done wonderfully with this one! We all look in the mirror and wonder where the years have gone, and when did those wrinkles appear, just a fact of life. I like to think age is only a number...we're only as old as we act..

Sometimes we have to come to terms with growing older... we look in that mirror and let the reflections dictates who we are, mainly cause it is what so called "Society" tells us we should be. Great flow and rhyme with a powerful message to never give in no matter what life says.
