The surprise

there was a knock on the front door of the 4 roommates.

There was a knock on their door. The room was silent, so silent that you could hear the humming of the house AC and the chirping of the crickets outside. She had woken up from the knock, and wondered who would be at the door at this time, it was 6:40 in the morning.

she stood up from her bed and walked towards the door, but she noticed it was wide open, and there were muddy footprints on the wooden floor leading to the kitchen.

She quietly went upstairs to check on the others and to see if they're okay, to her surprise they were all still in their bedrooms and none of them seemed to know what was going on.

She knocked on Sansa's door, there was no reply she heard the creaking from her bed and footsteps coming closer and closer to the door, Sansa opened the door, it seemed like she had just woken up from a deep sleep.

" Do you know what time it is! It's 7:00 am in the morning, and I have a class today that starts at 8:20!" She said her voice sounding tired

" Yeah, I know what time it is, but it's the door I heard a knock on the door and when I went to check and BOOM it was wide open" she exclaimed

" Stop trying to be funny my finals are next week and i need a really good nights sleep, you real-" she put my hand over Sansa's mouth, the door down stairs had been shut, she pointed at the others rooms and they quietly knocked on each one. There was this silence in the hallway it was eerie yet comforting, they felt like anything could sneak up behind them at any moment .

" I know they're all sleeping but why won't they come out of their bedrooms! This is serious we don't know if an intruder is in the house, we're in dange-" suddenly there's a pop behind her and all the lights turn on, she turned around ready to hit whatever was behind her, but to her surprise it was Rickon and Bran "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" they said, Sansa was right behind her laughing.

she had nearly forgotten that it was her own birthday , they led her down stairs where they had prepared a beautiful birthday breakfast complete with all her favorites.
