Nichelle: *Even though I was far away from my son, I could see hear his question so clear is if he'd said it right in front of me. I smiled to myself because right now my husband, Nico were in a meeting with other Kings & Queens ... so with that I made the magical happen sending it over to them adding on a note too: Dearest Nick & Joe, I bid you both a wonderful morning. I've got your wish request, just give this to Joe & he'll be ready to swim just like you Nick. Take care yourselves, & have a safe flight to Dallas tonight. I love you both, love mom*

Nick: *In a quick few minutes, Joe & I got her message ... smiling the whole entire time as I read it a loud*

Joe: She's remarkable, Nick you are so lucky baby. *Hugs him tightly*

Nick: *Beams* Thanks, she's a blessing. *Hands the vial to him* Drink up.

Joe: *Takes it inspecting it; chuckling* Why does this kind of remind of drinking some sort of magical potion or something?

Nick: *Shrugs; chortles* Because it is kind of like that, but this is safe & will do the transformation with no problems.

Joe: *Winks* Thats good, alrighty here I go then ... cheers. *Drinks the the entire vile* Ah, thats ....

Nick: Weird? *Guesses*

Joe: Yeah, a little but then ... it has a kick to it too.

Nick: Thats pretty common.

Joe: *I was about to say more when I started to glow ... well at least my entire lower half. The light that seemed to swirl around me continued to get brighter & brighter, until finally I had to close my eyes for a bit*

Nick: *Just like I'd predicted his transformation was quick & painless. I took in his new appearance & was left in such awe. Joe now had a tail of his very own. I swear it was like a dream come true. At first I hadn't been sure if he even wanted to do this, but when he said yes & I saw how happy & excited he was, I was even happier that mom was able to come through & grant our wish. And now just look at him, he's still a charmer even as a merman. His tail was a different shade of blue than mine, but still a little similar too. His was definitely an Egyptian blue, which was only slight darker than my own. It still took my breath away as I continued to gaze*

Joe: *I opened my eyes seeing my guy blushing madly; smirks* Stunned I see. *I commented, then looking down smiling* Whoa! *Looks back up at him* I've got a tail, Nick!

Nick: *Nods swimming closer to him* I know & its ....

Joe: Perfect. *Finishes; leans in to kiss his lips* This by far is truly amazing. And now, we match. *Gestures from my tail to his*

Nick: *Dreamily smiles* Mm-hmm, so wanna test it out?

Joe: Do I? *Instantly takes off without a second thought going as fast I could muster for my first try, grinning*

Nick: *My mouth dropping open* He ... oh My God. *He'd caught on like it was second nature to him*

Joe: *Swims back around to Nick finding him still in the same spot* What's the matter? *Touches his elbow*

Nick: *Tells him* You swim so naturally & now with the tail you just took off like you've done this before.

Joe: *Understands; pecks his lips* Well after watching you last night in the pool, I just caught on thanks to you baby. *Takes his hand* Shall we go for a nice steady swim?

Nick: *Pecks back; then I thought about it for a moment, shakes head blowing a cute small-ish raspberry at him taking back my hand* Nah! *Takes off with my own full speed*

Joe: *Gapes at him staying still for a moment before I took off after him with alarming speed* You wanna race Nicky, I'll show you a race! *Exclaims*

Nick: Bring it, I'm the fastest there is! *Challenges*

Joe: Oh, I will baby you better believe I will! *Accepts; swims even faster*

Nick: *Even with all the turns & zig-zags we did together, we stayed neck & neck through it all. Neither of us were backing down, it seemed to be were pretty much even*

Joe: *Suddenly I stopped in our mid-race abruptly, pointed & shouted* Nick, stop!

Nick: *Looks to where he's pointing seeing a huge school of swordfish traveling at an alarming speed right in front of us, before I could ram into them I whispered urgently* Make me invisible. *Just before I come into contact with them, I had disappeared safely*

Joe: *Just as I was about to race over there to save him before he could .... he vanished into thin air from my sight. By then the entire school had stopped in its tracks turning all their heads to face me. I waved* Hey there.

Swordfish#1: *Speaking French: Qui est-ce? [Who's that?]

Swordfish#2: Je ne sais pas, mais si je ne me trompe pas, je viens de voir un peu de ... [I don't know, but if I'm not mistaken I just saw a little bit of ...]

Swordfish#3: Magie. [Magic.]

Swordfish#4: Comment classique, ce que cela signifie un royal se trouve à proximité? [How classic, does that mean a royal is nearby?]

Swordfish#5: Ouais sans doute, ne vois-tu pas ce garçon? [Yeah probably, didn't you see that boy?]

Swordfish#6: Quoi, vous lui dire? [What, you mean him?] *Gestures with my nose towards the other boy*

Nick: *Sighs so relived* Whew, that was a close one.

Joe: Nick! *Spots him then, swims over to him like lightning fast hugging him by spinning & grabbing his shoulders* Oh my God, you scared the life out of me! *Pulls back* Are you alright baby, how'd you do that?

Nick; *Giggles* I'm just fine, I just barely made it let me tell ya. Its just another magical addition, a secret one Mar & I discovered together.

Joe: Oh is that all? *Kisses his cheek*

Nick: *Blushes then looks to the right noticing for the first the school of swordfishes watching us; looks at the six that have seemed to stopped whilst the rest have moved on; has a puzzled look* Thats odd.

Joe: What is baby?

Nick: *Points to them* Swordfish are not schooling fish, they never travel together especially this many. They're usually on their own & like to keep it that way.

Joe: Really? *News to me* I didn't know that.

Swordfish#1: Attendez une seconde n'est pas que le Prince Nicolas? [Wait a second isn't that Prince Nicholas?]

Nick; *Suddenly recognizes the language; swims over to them going closer introducing myself* Bonjour, oui je suis le prince Nicolas, mais je préfère tout simplement Nick simplement. [Hello there, yes I am Prince Nicholas, but I prefer just Nick simply.]

Swordfish#1: Ce que je pensais. Bon après-midi Nick, nous sommes désolés pour se mettre en travers. Comme vous le savez sans doute qu'il n'est pas commun pour espadons de voyager ensemble comme nous sommes, mais nous sommes arrivés à la conclusion que nous sommes la juste fatigué d'être solitaire. Donc, ce qui vous amène à San Francisco? [I thought so. Good afternoon Nick, we're sorry for getting in the way. As you probably know it's not common for swordfishes to travel together like we are, but we've come to the the conclusion that we're just tired of being solitary. So what brings you to San Francisco?]

Nick: *Nods continuing* C'est correct, ne vous inquiétez pas à ce sujet. Je sais, j'ai pensé qu'il était inhabituel de vous voir tous dans le groupe. C'est agréable de te voir comme ça. Eh bien, je suis en voyage avec mon ami Joe. Quels sont vos noms par le chemin? [Its alright, don't worry about it. I know, I thought it was unusual to see you all in group. It's nice to see you like this. Well, I'm traveling here with my friend Joe. What are your names by the way?]

Swordfish#1: Je suis Carson, le leader. [I'm Carson, the leader.]

Swordfish#2: Il ressemble plus à un ami. Et je suis Seanna. [He looks like more than a friend. And I'm Seanna.]

Swordfish#3: Salut à tous, mon nom Watson. [Hi there, my name's Watson.]

Swordfish#4: Enchanté de vous connaître Nick, je suis Reily. [Pleased to meet you Nick, I'm Reily.]

Swordfish#5: Nom est Kal. [Name's Kal.]

Swordfish#6: Et mon nom est Tom Lantos. [And my name is Lantos.]

Nick: *I blushed* Its great to meet all of you. *Bows* Can we continue in English please? *Gestures from them to Joe*

Carson: *Bows back with the rest of the us* Of course. Greetings there Joe.

Joe: *Obviously I recognized the language as French, so I watched quietly listening to them converse back & forth. Suddenly though I heard one of them speak directly to me. I knew then that Nick has asked to switch over so I could understand* Hi. *I waved again. Then each of them introduced themselves to me & I was wowed cause for one thing their names were cool & secondly because six large & big nosed swordfishes were talking to me as if it was an everyday thing* Its cool to meet you all, so where you all traveling to or towards?

Carson: Down South towards Peru where will stay for a bit & then move on to Chile.

Seanna: Its kind of a new commute for us, plus we've always wanted to venture that way.

Watson: And the waters are so beautiful there, paradise here we come!

Reily: *Laughs* Not to mention, this is like a convention. We spread the word & others continue to join us.

Kal: Yeah, its pretty sweet.

Lantos: We honestly can't wait to get over there.

Joe: Thats cool, yeah South America's amazing. Thats quite a trip you've all got there, but its definitely an awesome one. Where did you start from?

Carson: Sapporo, Japan.

Nick: My what a journey. Has it been a safe one?

Carson: So far it has & we've grown smarter avoiding getting hooked.

Seanna: We can't say that for the rest of the regular fish though.

Watson: But on the upside we've grown real close ...

Reily: Like a family.

Kal: Its great.

Lantos: Yep.

Nick: I see. *Understands all very well mainly because dad had also insisted we learn the in's & out's about exactly how dangerous humans can be. But on our side, we do everything we can to protect ourselves, but sometimes even with all the expertise we have .... at any moment we could be caught off guard & be captured alive*

Carson: Well then Nick & Joe, we'd love to stay & chat more with you, but we've still got a ways to go. You take care guys & you both have a safe journey as well. *Turns to the gang* Seanna, Watson, Reily, Kal & Lantos ... time to go. *Swims off following in the same direction the group had been*

Seanna: Cya guys again, I hope bye now. *Leaves next*

Watson: Stay cool later dudes.

Reily: Catch you all later.

Kal: Bye you two.

Lantos: Happy travels, until next time perhaps. *Last to swim off then joining everyone*

Joe: *Waves along with Nick; slightly stunned* Wow, they sure leave fast.

Nick: Thats kind of like them to do that, plus I wouldn't blame them .... cause this water is a little colder than Malibu's.

Joe: Yeah, actually now that you've mentioned it ... I feel it too.

Nick: But a good remedy to that is to swim & not think about it.

Joe: You wanna race again?

Nick: *Shakes head* No, I mean just swim comfortably.

Joe: I can go for that, plus its always nice to slow down & cruz, well sort of speak.

Nick: *Laughs* Yes.

Joe: *Happily takes his hand swimming along* You know under here, every direction looks the same sort of.

Nick: Yeah, in a way you're right.

Joe: So like how do you find your way?

Nick: Spy hop of course.

Joe: Like what Orcas aka Killer Whales do?

Nick: *Smiles* Exactly, their way is clever & fun. Wanna try it?

Joe: Sure. *Swims up to the surface slowly* Is there any trick to this?

Nick: Nope, just keep doing what you're doing. And when surfacing, you can slow down even more & then when you're ready to come back down ... just kind of slip back.

Joe: Got it, okay here we go, its spy hoping time Joick style. *Chuckles*

Nick: *Laughs* Oh boy. *Swims with Joe up to the surface doing the movement slowly to see that we were now a quite a ways from the shore* Hmm we're a little farther than I thought, won't Big Rob freak out?

Joe: *Smiles* Another round of thanks goes to Dalal for the magic allusion. See if he looks through his binoculars to check on us, which he probably will from time to time he'll see the two of doing things like playing in the water, running, you know beach stuff. Thats the beauty of the allusion, Dalal's promised to make it convincing as possible so he wouldn't have to come down to the beach.

Nick: Yeah, but like what if he actually did? What then?

Joe: Then you call for assistance from your mom to freeze time for us & then we travel back or teleport, whichever.

Nick: You're sure getting super used to this whole magic thing.

Joe: Little by little yes, its like whenever I understand one there's like a million more still to experience.

Nick: Same for me. Normally I've never had to use this much magic before.

Joe: Yeah, so we're both like newbies then?

Nick: Mmm-hmm. Oh hey I've got an idea.

Joe: Lay it on me baby.

Nick: How about we check out the caves?

Joe: Wait whoa there's caves nearby? Where are they?

Nick: Well I've heard stories of them & if I remember correctly, its closer to the shore but more north from the beach.

Joe: Nice, I say lets go find them.

Nick: *Nods leading the way* Follow me then.

Joe: Always. *Follows him keeping on his left side protectively*

Nick: *Side by side we swam back towards the shore turning angling ourselves towards the right to curve heading north & in time we passed a few surfers on the way, still of course they couldn't see us  but we sure could see them. Joe had made some jokes saying how certain ones need more work as surfers while others were in the zone & catching all the choice waves. In all honesty I didn't know much about surfing, but what I did know that the guys hanging out in the water for hours & hours at a time just chilling & having fun was completely cool. I mean how they were able to handle the temperatures even with their black pretty much all the same wetsuits on, I still had the upmost respect for them. Shortly after traveling for a good 15 minutes, I thought we be sure to come across the caves, but then I remembered something at the last moment. I stopped swimming then staying as still as I could & I whistled*

Joe: *Stops too, turns to look at him. When he whistled, I had to hold back a soft chuckle. I don't know why but underwater whistling just seemed too good to be true, but here I was watching my Nick do it*

Nick: *My ears tuned listening for for anything I could lead me in the right direction. Just then like the sun shining down, I now knew which way to go* This way, I've found it.

Joe: *Swims along with him; asks him* Okay, you gotta tell me what just went on cause that was something else.

Nick: Its kind of like echolocation for dolphins, but a little different. See for mermen & mermaids, whenever we need to find something or someone, doesn't matter how far they are usually ... what we do is that we whistle & stay extra super quiet waiting for some type of sign or sound back. In this case it worked cause the cave is just around this corner.

Joe: That is so sick! *Exclaims perkily*

Nick: Sick? *Confused* But I'm fine, I've got a perfect temperature-

Joe: *Chuckles* No baby, what I mean its amazingly cool.

Nick: *Blushes getting what he meant now* Oh!

Joe: God, you're so cute.

Nick: Even when I don't always get everything sometimes?

Joe: Baby, that in part is why I love & adore you so much.

Nick: *Lights up hearing him say that*

Joe: Thats why, I'll scream it, shout it, sing it, own it cause ... Nick I LOVE YOU!

Nick: *Spins around to kiss him* And I love you, Joe.
