Paradise Ep. 48 (Mother's Day?!)

Joe: *Opens eyes & smiles. Today is May 9, 2010, the 3rd day of Nick being back with me. My lovely angel, if you could only see him right now ... My heart is already fluttering crazily & its only ... 9 AM? Whoa ... haven't woken up this early in a long time. All of a sudden I heard my phone ringing loudly. I quickly jumped out of bed to retrieve it. I looked at the caller ID & ... my mouth literally dropped right there. MOM! Uh-oh! I have to pick it up, so I raced into the bathroom & answered it* Cheerful: Good morning Mom! How are you? *puts on a spare white robe in the bathroom*

Mrs. Jonas: Joe! At last you pick up, I've been calling you & Nick for awhile. Good morning to you too, I'm fine. How is Nick? 

Joe: *Smiles to myself* He's great, he's sleeping in his room. *Yeah right Joe ... more like MY ROOM & BED!* Sorry about not answering, I just woke up. How's Dad? Everything okay?

Mrs. Jonas: Oh when he wakes up, can you guys join me on a video chat? I really miss the 2 of you! It seems like forever since we've spoken & seen each other. Its okay sweetie, I understand. Your Dad is fine too, he actually got some pretty exciting news for you guys. But ... he wants us all be present on the video chat. Everything is really great, so I'll let you go now. Eat some breakfast & call me back when, Nick's awake. Love you Joe. Bye!*

Joe: Okay. You got it Mom. Bye. *Call ends. Hmm ... wonder what the big news is? I walked out of the bathroom & found Nick already out of bed in a white robe of his own. He was drinking some cold water by the fridge. I opened the curtains & the sunlight instantly burst in to the room, lighting everything. I walked back to Nick & smiled* Morning Nicky! *kisses his cheek* Sleep well lovely?

Nick: *Blushes* Yes. So ... well. *smiles* So who called? Kev? Frankie?

Joe: *Bites lip* Actually .... it was Mom. 

Nick: *Smile tuns into a shocked look/freezes* Oh ... my ... God. Joe ... is today May 9, Sun?

Joe: *Nods* Yeah ... Nick? .... You okay?

Nick: *Covers mouth with my hand & gasps* Joe, you do realize what today is right? Its ... Mother's Day!

Joe: *Eyes widen* Oh ... no. That means she ... And the call ... And we didn't .... Oh man!

Nick: *Brings right hand to cover forehead* I know. Okay, okay ... let's calm down. We can still surprise her. *Thinks hard: SELENA!*

Selena: *Appears next to Nick & Joe* You called Nick? *looks to see Joe is there too & smiles* Morning Joe & Nick! What's up guys?

Joe: *Surprised* Selena? Hey girl! *gives her a hug* Morning indeed! Nick, told me you were a real wizard, but ... *looks at Nick* Did you call on her?

Nick: *Smiles big* Yep! I didn't know if it would work, but apparently it does! Hey Sel! *joins the group hug* Thank you so much for coming, I know its early & its Mother's Day ...

Joe: Speaking of Mother's Day, you were able to pop away just like that? Does your family know your a wizard?

Selena: *Giggles* Aww you guys are so welcome, anytime & anything. *winks* Are you kidding me? Of course my parents know, & they know about Demi & me being a couple. Anyways, what can I help you with?

Nick: Well ... Joe & I, forgot what day is was & were unprepared for Mother's Day. We were wondering if you could help us send something special to her?

Joe: But what kind of special? Where's there a store with cards, flowers, & a gift so close by? 

Selena: *Raises wand* Never fear boys! I've got this! *out of thin air appears a store right in their room, with everything they need, all organized* There we are. *blows on wand* Choose whatcha you need & I'll take care of the expenses. 

Nick: *Amazed* Selena ... this is unbelievable! But ... please let us contribute & pay for it. 

Joe: *Puts a arm around Nick's shoulder, standing next to each other close with Selena in front of them/nods* Yeah this is awesome! I agree with Nick, you have helped us ... now its our turn. 

Selena: *Rolls eyes* Okay, okay. *laughs & smiles* Now lets have some fun, shopping, kay? 

Nick: *Nods* I'll find the right card. 

Joe: *Grins* And I'll get the flowers.

Joick: And we'll get the gift together! 

Selena: *Claps hands together* All right, lets do it people! 

~ Everyone takes to looking over their selection very carefully before making a decision. Time is ticking, but they managed to get everything together & pay. Joe: *Hugs her too, along with Nick* Yeah thanks Sel, your awesome! Congrats with being with Demi & Happy Mother's to both of your guys' parents!!

Selena: *Hugs back happily* No problem you 2! Like I said before ... best friends for life! *sends everything to Mrs. Jonas* Thank you & good luck to you as well, when you tell your parents. And Happy Mother's Day to Mrs. Jonas!! *pulls away from the hug & waves* I gotta run. Demi & everyone is waiting. *winks* I'll see you guys again real soon! *disappears with a huge smile on my face*

Nick: *Waves bye* Bye Sel. 

Joe: *Waves bye too & kisses left side of his face, nuzzling & breathing him in* Time to eat baby boy & get dressed. 

Nick: *Sighs happily* Okay Joey. Be back love. *kisses Joe's lips & leaves to my room next store*

~ In the next few min.'s the boys get dressed & all ready for the video chat. Joe orders breakfast & they eat together in his room. Once they're completely finished, they call their mom & start their hellos. BTW, Mr. & Mrs. Jonas & Frankie are together on 1, and Kevin & Danielle are on another, & last of course Joick on each of their Mac Air Book laptop screens on this video chat ~

Mrs. Jonas: There you are Nick! Good morning honey, how are you? 

Joe: *Smiles. He is SO GOOD!*

Nick: *Smiles too* I'm doing great Mom. Listen me & Joe, were wondering if you got our gifts for you? 

Kevin: *Claps* Yeah! Gift time! Open ours too Mom! We hope you like it! *hugs Danielle*

Frankie: *Hugs Mom* Yeah what they said! It's time! 

Mr. Jonas: Ah-ah, please open mine first Denise. 

Mrs. Jonas: *Smiling bigger & bigger* Awww! Joick, Kevielle/Kanielle, Frankie & Mr. Jonas: All together: Happy Mother's Day!! *cheering & clapping*

Mrs. Jonas: *Very happy* Everyone ... thank you so much! *looks at everyone smiling proudly* I love you all, & I love that I have such a wonderful husband *kisses Paul Kevin Sr.* & 4 sons whom I'm very blessed to have in my life, I'm proud of you guys. And Dani thank you too ... my sweet daughter-in-law, I'm so happy to have you in our family. 

Dani: *Smiles big* Your very welcome Denise. *hugs Kevin* I couldn't have done it without Kevin, we're happy you love everything. 

Kevin: *Nods smiling too* Uh-huh! So mom what you & Dad going to do the rest of day?

Frankie: *Smiles* Well I'm going to perform a song for her very soon & then Dad here is going to ... *looks at Dad*

Mr. Jonas: *Smiles lovingly to Denise* We're going to a very romantic dinner, filled with dancing & just spending time with the women who I continue to love more every single day. I love & cherish you Denise & I'm so proud of my sons & daughter-in-law. *kisses Denise* 

Joick, Kevielle/Kanielle & Frankie: All together: Awwwww! 

Joe: *Mom & Dad have always loved each other, but everytime I see exactly how much ... it just continues to grow stronger & stronger. I admire that & thats exactly what I want for Nick & I. I chuckled at the thought & just smiled big watching my parents with Nick & everyone*

Mr. Jonas: *Pulls away from the kiss & speaks* Oh! I almost forgot the news boys! *clears throat* ~Everyone listening intently.~ 

Well as we all know, you guys have announced the 2010 North America tour ... the exciting news is that we now have a grand total of 45 sold-out shows!! Yep, we start of course July 27 in our home town & end October 17 in North Carolina! And then we'll continue making it another world tour! So boys you got 2 months to rest up on your vacation & have fun, then in July plan on returning home. We love you guys & Dani, & we can't wait to see you all together!

Mrs. Jonas: *Starting to get teary eyed* He's right ... we love you all so much! 

Joick: Oh, Mom please don't cry. We love you too & miss you!

Kevielle/Kanielle: We'll be there & we love you too!

Frankie: *Hugs her* See Mom we all love you! 

Mr. Jonas: *Hugs her too* You got that right. 

Joe: Mom we'll be there no matter what. And we'll see you in person sooner than you think. And when we do all come to together, our family ... *takes a deep breath* Nick & I ... have something we'd like to talk to you about. 

Frankie: *Eyes light up cause I know what their news is already, but I have promised to keep it secret. I've promised Kevin & I may be only 9 going on 10, but I can keep a secret. I smiled, I think they're cute together* Okay Joey & Nicky. Well we'll talk to again soon, okay? Happy rest of your vacation! 

Kevin: *Smiles reassuring to Joick* You betcha Frankie! Cya Joe & Nick, love you guys! Bye Mom & Dad & Frankie, love you!

Joe: *Quits vid chat program & shuts down computer/sighs relived* Well that went well. Huh Nick? *sees that Nick has fallen on my bed, sighing heavily. I climbed on top on him & looked at him carefully* I know baby boy, but we had to leave it with that. We're going to have to tell them before the tour kicks off, its our only chance & opportunity. We can't keep our dating & being in love a secret, especially during the tour, we'd be guilty & we'd not be able to perform at the best of our ability. I think we're ready Nicky to tell them & I think they're going to accept us. We've come this far & I promise you, I'm not ever going anywhere. I love you Nick, truly, deeply. I'm so in love with you & want to be with you only ... forever & always baby boy. 

Nick: *Slowly eyes close & smiles blissfully* Mmmm. I agree Joey. I love you so much & I promise you that I always will. I'm yours, only yours. 

Joe: *Kisses his lips passionately* 

Nick: *Moans in Joe's mouth* Ohh ... Joey.
