DP takes place in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean & also in L.A, CA.

Rina is a name from Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch.

Reese/Reesa name's was a little from the 1st Terminator movie or could it be the peanut butter cup? Hmm maybe both.

Neara's name came from Walt Disney's "Dinosaur (2000)."

DP is mostly inspired by Deep Blue Sea & its soundtrack.

Nalan was a name I always liked & kinda named for a Pokemon.

About Joe's 8 brothers, I knew I wanted all really awesome guys to play the role cause each of the 1's I chose ... I'm a fan of. I noticed that I choose a lot of virgos in the process too.

I included the main characters b-days, ages, & astrology signs for fun.

DP was almost called attraction.

I knew that in this story that Joick would have a girl this time & while in search of the perfect name I came across 2 I really loved a lot. Serenity from Sailor Moon & Nala from The Lion King.

I used Italian for a 2nd language just because there were times when I thought it just looked/sounded better.

Orly/Orlando of course was from POTC (love the films so much). Oh & he was never the bad guy, just a friend testing Joick.

DP is completely fiction & written purely for fun.

I knew that I wanted Neara & Nalan to have kids, though I wasn't sure of how many at 1st but settled on 4.

DP like P, SM & even CG all included some kind of magic.

DP was planned to go from episode 1 to 50, but I got so into writing it that it became a lot more part wise.

When creating names I try to come up with my own, but sometimes 1's out there are more suited towards the characters.

DP was my 3rd story written.

Why I'd use great white sharks? All I know I needed was a shark, it was all about what kind & I saw them 1 night on TV & bam I was sold on the idea.
