~ Shades of time out of mind~

Arduous shadows cascade in solitary confinement
A view scalloped by symbolic gestures
Colour feeds the retreating landscape

Seated alone steeped in light
Listless clouds passover unaware
Dark lines of the aftermath draw near

Progress withdraws taking refuge
Pursuing reflection in a mannequin pose
Transient, time mirrors its own image

Certainty gives way to endless doubt
Divided depth through fearless thought
Stricken with sudden freedom sought
