The Sea

The Sea

A Poem by Virginia

Far away from the hustle bustle,
You flow up and down,
You know nothing about the world but the world knows you,
Mighty you stand and that smoothness in your flow,
Reminds me nothing but the lives you give,
The happy fishermen has his happiness because of you..

And when the wind slows down,
And you get calm,
A fear comes from within,
And that sudden swift, the storm, the thunder, and the lightening..
Your anger reminds me nothing but the lives you take,
And a moment sweeps away everything..

For whom this anger is?
When I see from far it seems your waves touching the sky..
But you won't ever able to..

Now when you realise..look down again
I stand near you...
And you wave your way to my feet..
Making them wet.. once.. twice..and move away
No I won't forgive,
For sweeping all away from me..

You made that little hut of the fishermen empty..
For today tomorrow and forever..
