Caterpillar to Butterfly

Caterpillar to Butterfly

A Poem by Virginia

A caterpillar I was, just seen a little world

And one day,

The door of the world I lived, I loved, shuts

Pushing me to another world

To the one where I could find only darkness

I mingle around and see a light somewhere

But when I reach its darkness again

I’m suffocating in this empty world though I could see butterflies

Butterflies but hypocrites

Some promises to show me light; but none does

It is high time now, am a butterfly too

I would find my own way,

I would find my flower, and

I would fly higher to sit on the top of the flower,

I would find happiness..

All I feel, I need to do, is ‘believe in my wings
