Supernova Heart

Supernova Heart

A Poem by Samantha ~virginpoet

The night
is so still

BUT

I N S I D E

Words fill the spaces
and the formality of my mind

A Merry~go~round of spinning thoughts

Ancient stars gather in dreams

The moon sighs
trapped in a net
of stars

To the emotional sphere
where the broken go

Slam poetry
at the base
of earth
cause I

i (S)hout
(L)oud
     (A)mongst
      (M)an Kind

See I’m full
of flavors

Exploding like buds
Birthing roses

Tongues tasting upon
the dew filled petals
of this pink blossom

But its so hard
to keep these thoughts
between the lines

Blurred truth

Broken realities

Nights alone
that make
my soul ache
and my body hunger
reflective confectionery

Mystical
magical
moonbeams
waves of insanity

As ambient light
keeps seeping

Hands out begging

As if I'm reaching
from lunar standing
unable to touch
unable to kiss

Forever doomed
to yearn

So with this pen
I piece together
desire and sorrow

I speak here in these pages
with a sob throat-ed beat
engulfing every syllable

I let it rock
scribing with
every pulse

Electrifying like
static shock

Words coursing
 like amps

Not trying to drown
in loveless hope

Cause I'm stronger
with my words

My brain shuts down
as silence becomes sound

Or does the world not know
that the words echo through me

Reverberating Desire

I'm Exploding
cause I got a
Supernova Heart

Author's Note

the pic is of the Heart Nebula and yes its a real place Google it

The Heart Nebula lies some 7500 light years away from Earth. It is located in the Perseus arm of the Galaxy in the constellation Cassiopeia. This is an emission nebula showing glowing gas and darker dust lanes. This nebula is formed by plasma of ionized hydrogen (HII) and free electrons. The hydrogen has been ionized by ultraviolet radiation from young hot stars. The nebula thus exhibits a characteristic red spectral glow (represented in this monochrome image by white). The image above was captured using a 6nm wide hydrogen-alpha filter centered at 656 nm.

Funny this is the second time this week I've see and talked about Nebula.. it must be emitting some energy towards us that we need to pay attention to. As always no matter the topic or style your words are powerful and pack full of meaning.. I loved this for all those reasons..x
