The Poet Within

The poet within me has stirred
glimpses of a long forgotten word
back through my life I turn
attempting to relearn

Reveling in my life’s incredible wealth
passing on my knowledge of love
so my words can be read
down through the passages of time
my thoughts opening up the doors of my mind
tales brought down through word of mouth
finally make their way to my welcoming paper
letting my past come to the fore
so I can re-live my story once more

I have celebrated the seasons as they have passed
to the hands of my loved ones I hold fast
honoring my ancestors as they are due
ensuring I'm aware of everything I say and do

Adhering to the natures laws
I lived in wonder of its raw force
with each piece of the puzzle
I reveal my lives passage
urging me to celebrate
the richness of my heritage
and the poet within

Well someone is plagiarizing this poem as well, Look at my posting date and my last updated date

Now look at her posting date ... it pisses me off I mean really pisses me off!!!!! If she was standing in front of me right now I think you'd have to pry my hands from around her neck lol

not only has she stolen this poem but a few others and I confronted her about it and other poems she stole from other poets
