Taste

Taste

A Poem by Samantha ~virginpoet

On my Lips he left a Kiss
so Sweet I could Taste
the Passion in it.
Than I woke up Weeping
for it was only a Dream.

Much much shorter than what I'm used to seeing but that makes it all the greater. Nothing more depressing than those first few moments after waking up from a sweet dream

Those damn sweet dreams leave us wishing and hoping. A short poem that is direct and to the point. A outstanding poem. Thank you.

Ah! so short, yet so perfect in the feeling of longing and forlorn hopes and bittersweet desire!
