Today is your birthday
and I have no gift to give

You know I'm not one for
material things but I love to give

And I am sorry
I have nothing

But

All I have to offer you
is everything I am

A future
of loyal
love

I will never
break your
heart

And

I will continue
to love you more
than anyone
ever has

We will make
unforgettable
memories

And

Our son
will grow
into a
good
man

With you
as his example

And

I could not
be more proud
of the good husband
and father that you are

I once lived
a lonely life
of solitude
longing
for love

And when you
found me my heart
was in the stage of giving up

So from the first
moment I met you
I knew you were the one

How did I know

You see my heart told me so

And even though
it was not all I had pictured

It was so much more
when you finally
accepted
love

You've made me smile

You've made me cry

But most of all
you've made me happy
