Bleeding OutA Poem by Samantha ~virginpoetYou cut into me removed my heart and the beating of my soul died slowly than all at once you handed it half dead back to me And you tried to stitch up my chest And than And than you acted like nothing happened like you did nothing wrong like you were the only one broken like you were the only one drowning in pain You acted like you were the one bleeding And the worst part The worst part was While I overlooked my own wounds tending to yours trying to double stitch your ripped broken darkness into a new broken puzzle piece heart Neither one of us saw that I was bleeding to death By Samantha Pruitt
