A Poets Infinite Eclipse of a Soul

Crystallize the metamorphosis

In a transformation from suicidal to suicidal poet

Converse the hypothesis

Fantasize the death in her eyes

A beautiful tragedy on her lips

Darkness dwells inside his voice

Scowl the earth lonely poet in a search

To find ones inner self distraught

He familiarizes himself with the lost broken souls

Raise up and shout the anthem of the murdered

Bleed a sonnet of self-destruction

A poets passion penned precisely

As he wrought his soul upon each page

 

With every kiss bringing him closer to his demise

Yet he is addicted to the pain and sorrow

Upon her rose petal lips

A deathly muse ferrying him to

The poetic underworld

He burns his words into her psyche

A subconscious demon chained to his self-esteem

Ignites a fire between her mind and his bleeding hand

Poet breathe now and you'll eclipse the verses

That she hides within the darkest caverns of her silence

Her eyelids anchored down to his rotting corpse

Withered shards of poetry cast sunlight into the graveyard

Poet over time you'll slowly start to die between the lines of your poetry

You'll flat line inside her infinite pages of wondering where he rests

Capture the essence from the art of dying

 As the last poetic death rattle

Escapes his lungs choking on one last word

He meets his end with the taste of her in his mouth

Sickly sweet like the Durian fruit

It took me some time to grasp the poem, to be candid. But, upon a few readings, I found that this poem is very deep and powerful. It has a very strong concept.

The poet in this poem rather beautifies poetry with 'the art of dying'. It seems he had reached the penultimate depths of sorrows of life, that one chose to immortalize his message into one's love's mind by dying in the most proper manner.

Once a reader begins getting the real gist of this poem, it becomes evermore grasping and intriguing. Its even difficult for me to put into words what I grasped from reading it, but it soothed me somehow. That is the beauty of poetry. It goes straight into your heart, and one is not able to explain the message.

Beautiful writing. Good job by you and Sir himself.
