I wake early
just to watch you sleep
memorizing your face

In a vaulted space

And

I am lost within
your even heartbeats

Your eyes start to flutter
they begin to open
I close mine quick
so you don't see
me lost
within
you

And

In my mind
I counted down
the breaths
until I was
almost
gasping
reaching out
to exhale

Just in time
to stay alive

And

I am
conscious enough
to describe this feeling as
breathless
love

Breathless
as I breathe in

Breathless
as my lungs are
filled between
the words
that form
my ribs and
crack my
skull

And

Bend
my spine

Cause my heart
pounds heavy

As

Our fingers
intertwine
the oxygen spills
forth from skin to skin
and even my hands
are having trouble
staying steady

While we fall in time
with the rise of your chest
and the downbeat of mine

I have your name
engraved into the foundation
of my bones

My womb
carried your seed
who lays next to us
blooming

And

He is beautiful

And

As we grow
into each other
we make
poetry out of
body language
and wear
one another’s
weaknesses
when they get
too heavy

Hold me and I’d cave into
you like the hungry tide

Your the one
who translate me in
love, lines and curves
and scars that read

Well beyond
any verse
my poet
soul
could
ever
write

I cover
myself in ink
wanting you
to taste my words
and digest their meaning

I cover
myself in ink
my mouth
is a cavern
of stars

I wont be
caged to the
confines of
lines and
darkened love
 turned to gold
buried deep
within walls

My metaphors
create themselves

Love is making
a metaphor of itself

Stay right
here with me

Stay right
here my love

I love you now
as I always will

You are my life

My heart beats
only for you

If you leave me

I will parish

I have been
under construction

And

My heart is now open
No longer in its cage
of your lies and adultery

You have
opened
and shut
and opened
the doors
to eternal
happiness

The one with whom
I'm meant to be with

So stay with me now

rob that from me

to recover
my sight

blind
