I've fought for love before and found myself to be the only part working to that means. That is why I am in no hurry to find anything again even if my heart warms to another - it is not so much fear as a defense mechanism that I have built up over time.

A close personal friend asked my not to long ago why I was single and could not give her the answer she might have sought out. That said, I can and so love, but I am not one to rush into into things and would rather wait a decade for the right thing than have ten more before finding that one that I hold till my dying breath.
