To be a poet you have to write about what you know and feel. Suffering and joy are equal parts of the same. I've recently gotten into poetry quite a bit actually I've realized one thing and that is you learn more from sorrow than joy. One cannot exsist without the other. To be a poet you must understand your own emotions so that they are written better. You are one of two writers that I look forward to reading every time i see one of your poems. I'm in awe of you as a writer and the way that you construct your poems. Your one of two poets that I'll read. Not to say that your better than the rest here for I'm sure there are also many good writers on here as well. Sorry for going on like that. Well done
As an outside observer of the beautiful romance of two beautiful minds, it is in fact painful going through the ups and downs which is inevitable for any relationship. Everyone wishes fairy tales for others nevertheless none of them actually have it.
All I want is to see you guys together, keep penning brilliant poems and one thing I am really sure there will be no dull moments.

I have already left my comments there ;) some 8 hours back
I love this, rich with raw, real emotions and full of unique metaphor that just brings the whole poem alive. My favorite has to be
"But I’m just a poet dreaming
of shoving a pen down my throat
and writing these verses inside out"
- I think that's brilliant!! Justine :)
Some say that suffering is what make us uniquely human. While I agree with this I also feel it's the sharing of the suffering as well. Our innate ability to share the burden of pain and suffering from strangers. There is always this deeper undertone of something else lurking just beyond the grasp of understanding for us all on the outside looking in on your world. Thank you for sharing. Wonderfully dark and moving! :)
"I love the way you hate me" Uh huh, I get it, although the last lines make me feel like you don't want to write anymore, which would make me very sad indeed.
