Masked Truth

wrapped in complex
metaphors

Some like me
do both

Because

I am scared
to hear my
voice crack
and feel
the emotion
seep out
my eyes

So I became
a poet to let
it seep out
of my pen

So you can taste
the salt and iron
in my words

As you lick
me from
the page

how do you manage to keep the thought process full of these

Thanks and I dont know lol I wrote it last night after reading a poem steve wrote today has been full of poetic ideas I even have one rolling around in my head more of an idea wonder where the words will lead me

Me ? I don't necessarily drown the truth with sex, far from. I illustrate the truth usually with unusual events and instances, not normally considered by others. It is pretty easy to tell what is inspired with me and what is fabricated.

If I have gone lurid and definitive, you can bet that my writing, fictional though it may be defined, is in some way recalling events from my past. If it is whimsical, silly, and nonsensical, it is possible it is just from me. :)
