I love the feel theme of sacrifice for your work. No matter how it hurts, be it something as simple as your hand cramping or people telling you your work isn't good enough, you must keep working through it in order to get better and create poetry. Or anything for that matter.
Great Job you really have your own style of writing :)

I like this one alot. Both the physical suffering of the hand and the metaphorical suffering which leads to great art. Nice one Sam.

Haha Interesting idea indeed. I like the literal and the way that we can use this as a metaphor for bigger things. Your verse is always clear and concise, and I enjoy the stories that you tell through your words. Well done, my friend.

Lovely metaphor in your normal short but shaped verse.

Interesting premise. I too suffered from hand cramps quite a bit before I switched over to typing (and even then I still experience it from time to time). I guess that's just the curse of being an artist. But all things considered, it's not the worst curse to have.

Your words are true. Hemingway served as a Medic and then he was a reporter for life and war. Great writer's need to test life and swim in s**t to understand what life is truly is. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
