"Reading me leaves your body completely quenched, and yet..." Cause if I'm quenched either, I stop drinking, or I'm not really quenched. But if I'm quenched, AND... it seems to make more sense in terms of a pleasant paradox.

Then again, it also screws up the visual if you add something else or another line. In other words, its good, but I would suggest adding "yet," if and only if it works and looks right to you.
