Eros and PsycheA Poem by Samantha ~virginpoetI shall meet you
in your dreams love and we can dance I'll buy the wine No time love, Not for drinks nor dance as we sway in silky romance Ill be there waring only a smile of bare flesh dressed in tender swaying gestures And we shall merge as two wild rivers in the spring Diverging and interesting again like the meeting of waters separated by salt and sin As the wildness of skin and ripples like waves tremble in touch and burns as sand in the heat of the sun coming alive two being poured into one Evaporating in the heat of desire melting as ecstasy's fire moves over heart and mind Merging and igniting soul to verse In a universe of dreams how they confess the darkest shadows of the mind hidden paths of day The etchings of life's embers marking skin and soul Spread out on a vast plateau imbedded hieroglyphics ancient and futuristic Written upon the world as life baring soul Sunrise parables on the horizons of lost days Immortal words deeper meaning psychological definitions Cause you make me feel like Psyche As soft curves of light and warm places of lust and isolation beyond description in deepest awe of man and myth Where wild hearts become legends As the zephyr winds blew reuniting Eros to his precious Psyche By Samantha Campbell and The 13th Eros© 2013 Samantha ~virginpoetAuthor's Note
