Supernova LipsA Poem by Samantha ~virginpoetI'm empty
Nothing comes out simply Rose blood on his tongue this lonely heart to her lonely bed In this universe of twilight skin and mismatched bones I wonder just how many poems sleep beneath the inkwell of my eyes My body is a house of stars and my palms are black holes sucking ( me ) into their vortex of nothing I am nothing A heart's hoarded secrets of love me pretties and scarlet letter dreams Across the cosmos hungry for your lips my mouth yearns and burns a bursting hot supernova I wanna hear your voice touch your skin feel your breath taste your lips take you all in Eden at the very core scorching secreting secrets In this tangled mess I call my heart Daisy veins and sin this cosmic heart of mine she's bringing me down gravity bound Nothing I am nothing an insignificant nebula orbiting the wrong atmosphere Pressing origami bones against my sun-stricken mouth desire searching for a home buried in your lungs You whispered breathe me lovely in the inhale/exhale of carbon dioxide suicide She speaks only of you now lonely and mourning beats Crack open this damn ribcage set me free Burn my words trample their ashes until not one letter remains feed them to the winds until you and I alone have known the passion in their flames Cause Ive got constellations in my eyes And hes got the galaxy in the palm of his hand and yet I'm empty Nothing comes out simply By Samantha Campbell © 2013 Samantha ~virginpoetAuthor's Note
