We Are Not Forever

Living in a world 

of nothing but false fantasy

your sailing away 

to destinations unknown

standing aside 

as life passes by

to a future you can't see

waiting for the day

you realize that

nothing in life is free

Careless you leave all

light and love behind

approaching the door

do you care whats 

on the other side?

led astray from the

path leading to your destiny

what would it take

just for you to see

we are not forever

time is always passing by

we are not forever

but to be remembered when we die...
