For Every Choice A ConsequenceA Poem by ItchytastySomething I wrote on a whim for my old metal project.Oblivious as time ticked by till the day I closed my eyes mindless choices led me astray its my own life I defied reflecting on dreams that I forsake trivial matters siezed the day communication crippled decayed broken ambitions in my wake Quick to judge and quick to fall so young and naive I thought I knew it all This isn't true, it cannot be this cannot be my destiny there are no words in my defense for every choice a consequence there is no time to hide and cower wake up and smell the folowers stand tall and claim your power the clock has struck your final hour never once could I forsee my every choice was haunting me a shadow stalking my every step to end my life with regret should have made things right should have said I cared should have seeked the stars and the time is nigh here in my burial sight Quick to judge and quick to fall so young and naive I thought I knew it all This isn't true, it cannot be this cannot be my destiny there are no words in my defense for every choice a consequence there is no time to hide and cower wake up and smell the folowers stand tall and claim your power the clock has struck your final hour so raise your head or cry in sorrow the path you choose unfolds tomorrow your destiny is yours to shape heed my words and don't forsake life is short so make it matter give all you can give until your dying hour live to the fullest and don't forget to live your life with no regrets
