Monochrome

Monochrome

A Poem by Virellius an Fiach
"

This one was a challenge. A friend said I couldn't write on the spot, so I whipped this up. Little did he know of my haiku skill. This isn't haiku, but... ah, just read it.

"

Monochrome
Monochrome.
A world without color or tone;
thick, ashy mist
which creeps along on tiny feet.
Emerald springs and azure skies...
Crimson leaves and butterflies...
Nothing is beautiful.
Nothing is left...
...uncorruptable.
In a world of endless monochrome,
where hues are skewed
so naught remains
but the base..
Nothing is...
when everything is...
Monochrome.

Very well done. A definite reverse of normal thinking. Twisted, but not dark. I like. 80 in my eyes.

Lovely. The play with color is a nice addition, as I would expect from a poem called "Monochrome". Oh, I liked the butterflies too. XD

I would give a long lengthy and most likely horrendously boring description of the philosophy I happen to follow, or the books I indulge in, or what Idol is my favorite, but that would be a bit of a r.. more..
