Remember Me

Remember Me

A Poem by Virellius an Fiach
"

This poem is an unusual one. I often write with no real structure, and it ends up structuring itself. This isn't too hard to understand. Enjoy!

So have you found it it?
What you were searching for?
Well, you left me alone
on your quest to find it.

While I waited at home,
you journeyed 'cross the world,
looking for something there
that you could not find here.

I wonder... Did you really look?
Did you ever really see me?
If you're happy with what you'e found,
Guess I don't mind if it's not me...

...If you've even found it.
Somehow, I doubt you have.
You've never been happy
even when here with me.

If I wrote you a song
would you still sing it now?
Will you even read this?
Will words fade like a haze.

I really want to know, my love,
did you ever truly love me?
Or did you always want something
that I just could not give to you?

I'll love you forever
despite what you might feel.
Maybe you'll come back, dear,
if you remember me.

I'll wait forever more.
Empty, lonely, and cold.
One day I hope you'll see
and then remember me.

This was an interesting piece.
I am glad that there is someone out there feeling the way I feel.
You put a lot of questions in your poem,
and I think they make it better.
Amazing!

I would give a long lengthy and most likely horrendously boring description of the philosophy I happen to follow, or the books I indulge in, or what Idol is my favorite, but that would be a bit of a r.. more..
