We're all tempted at one time or another to do something.

Temptation

Temptation is every where we look

It’s on the streets, on TV and in books

We are tempted by the things we see, what we hear and what people do

It’s getting harder everyday for me and you

In the world today temptation is getting harder and harder to resist

Some would say it’s not that serious or important, but it can’t be dismissed

Everyday kids are tempted to try alcohol, drugs, view porn and to have sex by their peers

Even as adults we have battled these same temptations through out the years

You can’t listen to music, open a magazine or get on the internet without the temptations being there

People continue to put the temptations out there without a care

Temptation has always been here and it will always last

But there is help in the Lord Jesus Christ if you just ask

He is forgiving, loving and kind

He told us not to be transformed to the ways of this world, but to be transformed in the renewal of our minds

That means we have to keep our hearts and thoughts pure

For these temptations He is the only sure cure

We must seek him first then everything else will be givin unto us

We can’t give in to our own selfish lust

As I said everyday people fight temptation

We all know that it can also lead to addiction

So we must learn to fight and resist it by saying no

Because once you give into it it’s hard to let go

It’s like quicksand the more you struggle to get out the deeper it pulls you in

So I encourage you not to get caught up in these sins

So stay strong in the renewal of your minds and continue to pray

So that you will be able to fight the temptations everyday
