This happens everyday and we must learn to open our eyes and stop it.

Our children is our future is what they say

But everyday another one is taken away

　

Child abuse is a major problem in today’s society

Believe it or not it's the cold truth reality

　

In every country, town, and state

A child is being, starved, beaten, and raped

　

You see it all the time on the internet and TV.

Children being locked in cages dirty from head to feet

　

Being deprived of water and food

Being beaten and wondering if they'll end up dead of the evening news

　

Going to bed trying to sleep being afraid

With thoughts of being molested or raped

　

It just breaks my heart just thought of seeing them cry

And not being able to hold them and wipe the tear from their eye

　

All our children want is to be loved and have a good home

Not to be scared of what will happen to them when they're alone

　

Too many people turn a blind eye

They don't want to see or recognize the signs

　

If you suspect or know a child to be abused call someone and help them to get free

If not their face might be on the news for everyone to see

　

Every child lost will be missed

Remember without our children our world will cease to exist
